Roof Repairs Update

No more 'involuntary baptisms' under the flat sanctuary roof when it rains!!!

Very exciting progress in our 'Roof Repairs' project! Last week saw the completion of the repairs to the flat roof above the sanctuary (a major part of the project).

This included the need to remove the (sloping) glass panels above the sanctuary and replacing them with new panels (the old ones had 'lamination deterioration'). At one stage the hard working crew even worked on into the evening using head torches..
On a good day, it's quite an awesome spot up there, some of us even reckon that it would make a great 'open air' platform for a 'jazz band cafe' (with safety railings, obviously!).
