I am of Tongan descent although I grew up in Fiji before migrating to Aotearoa to complete my high school studies. So, as much of a fruit-salad I might be, I am indeed a full-blow Kiwi after almost 40 years being part of the Long White Cloud.
Prior to St Augustine’s I spent two years as a Curate in Upper Riccarton-Yaldhurst and almost 11 years as a Lay Minister at St Barnabas Fendalton.
My husband Leni & I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren, all of whom live in Christchurch. We enjoy loads of weekly family time together and always look forward to the noise and cheer when the family congregate.
There are so many exciting moments coming up in the life of the parish on the hill and I want to invite you to join me as we walk together in God’s Footsteps. Let us be guided by the script in Proverbs 16:
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.”
May our living Lord continue to shine His face upon you and be gracious to you!
