Andy & Shona are in El Salvador for a young adult’s conference. They are expecting around 250 young people. Please pray for them during this time. Give thanks for all that Nick & Tessa have accomplished this term, setting up ten new health centres, Tessa’s work in the community and her work alongside the Apaa community. Pray for Tessa as she continues to work with this community who are facing eviction and continual harassment. Pray also for their time in NZ & their return to the UK, early January.
Elizabeth Ruth Tovey: we give thanks to God for her life. Elizabeth passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 9th December 2018. Dearly loved wife of John and much loved mother of Tim, Sam, and Rachel. Loved sister and friend to many. A celebration of Liz’s life was held at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Havelock North, on Saturday 15 Dec. 2018.
Our Friends in Central Asia: remember our friends serving in a foreign land, assisting locals to establish businesses in their local communities.
McCormicks: doing amazing work in Cambodia training and mentoring locals in their respective fields of handcrafts and social work training.
Neelams, India: pray for a restful January for the family after the business of pre – Christmas trading in the bookshops. Pray also for daughters Blissy hoping to attend a DTS course in NZ with YWAM, and Erica participating in her YWAM DTS course in Cairo at this time.
Nathan Hazra – Morrison Home: pray for clarity for the future of the Morrison Home; positive dialogue with Vestry that would secure a positive outcome.
